At the beginning of 2025, an annual output of 100,000 tons of mica of Global New Material International in Tonglu reached an important milestone — the successful first hoisting of steel structure， which marked that the project has officially entered the stage of main structure construction, injected a strong impetus for the follow-up project, and laid a solid foundation for quicker completion and operation of the project.

At the ceremony, Zhang Suping, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Tonglu County Party Committee and Secretary of the Party Working Committee of Tonglu Economic Development Zone, and Jin Zengqin, Executive Director and Vice President of Global New Material International, delivered speeches respectively. Secretary Zhang Suping fully affirmed the significance of Tonglu project of Global New Material International, and said that the CPC Tonglu County Party Committee,Tonglu County People’s Government and Tonglu Economic Development Zone Administration will continue to go all out to provide the best service and the solid guarantee for the project construction, and make it a benchmark project by coordinated promotion between government and enterprise. Vice President Jin Zengqin expressed his sincere gratitude to Tonglu government and leaders of Tonglu Economic Development Zone Administration for their strong support, and stressed that GNMI will push forward the construction of the project with high standard and high quality, ensure its operation on schedule, and give a push to Tonglu’s high-quality economic development. Leaders of Tonglu Economic Development Zone Administration also attended the ceremony and witnessed this historic moment.

Tonglu project is an important step for GNMI to deepen the global strategic layout. Upon the completion of the project, it will achieve an annual production outputof 100,000 tons of mica, effectively fill the gap between supply and demand in domestic and foreign mica material market, and help the vigorous development of new energy materials, coatings, cosmetics and other industries. As a key new material project of National Strong Foundation Project, the project not only highlighted the dominant position of GNMI in technological innovation and market development, but also reflected Tonglu’s first-class business environment and efficient government-enterprise cooperation mode.

The first hoisting of steel structure revealed our construction speed，gave dynamic momentum in the industry,further consolidated GNMI’s resolution to march towards a promising future.
