Upon the New Year Eve, On Dec. 28, 2024, Global New Material International 2024 Annual Ceremony was held in Liuzhou, Guangxi, China.

More than 1,000 participants, including employees of Guangxi Chesir Pearlescent Material Co.Ltd and CQV of South Korea,subsidiaries of Global New Material International, as well as shareholders, financial representatives, distributors, suppliers and cooperative units, gathered together to celebrate the outstanding achievements in 2024 and look forward to promising prospect in 2025.

Review 2024: A Year of Sowing and Harvesting

For GNMI, 2024 is a year of sowing and harvesting. We firmly promoted the strategy of “materials + innovation + full scenario”, took materials as the core and innovation as the driving force, and built a full scenario application ecosystem covering “industry, consumption and future science and technology”. Facing with a challenging market environment, GNMI made achievements with practical actions, and revealed the value brought along by unremitting efforts with tangible achievements.

GNMI completed the signing of the merger and acquisition of Merck’s Surface Solutions business, marking a major breakthrough in the field of surface performance materials and a key step in our globalization strategy. The operation of the second phase of Chesir Pearlescent Material demonstrated our firm commitment to technological innovation and green manufacturing, which promoted the development of environmental protection. The  synthetic mica project with the output of 100,000 tons per year in Tonglu has further strengthened our commitment to future science and technology and its contribution to sustainable development. GNMI expanded its business across the globe, covering many fields, from industrial coatings in Asia to high-end cosmetics in Europe, and making breakthroughs in new energy materials and winning high recognition in global industry, and Global New Material International has won recognition in the global market with technological innovation. The business performance of Chesir and CQV has achieved stable growth, which highlighted persistence and pioneering spirit when facing challenge.

Outlook 2025: Fully Implementing Strategy and Getting to A New High

In 2025, Global New Material International will fully implement the “materials + innovation + full scenario” strategy, and continue to make efforts in three core areas of green manufacturing, advanced materials and intelligent application, aiming for getting to a new high.

2025 will witness the realization of innovative development and global footprint of GNMI. GNMI will increase investment in research and development, establish a global collaborative research and development mechanism, seek technological breakthroughs in synthetic mica, pearlescent materials, new energy materials and other fields, and accelerate the commercialization of technological achievements,build a full-scenario application ecology, provide customized solutions, and build a global ecosystem,continuously optimize production processes, reduce carbon footprint, and achieve green and sustainable development.

2025 is also a key year for deep integration of GNMI and the newly-acquired. We will focus on leveraging its branding strength, technical advantages and market resources, promote deep integration of its surface performance materials with existing pearlescent materials and functional materials, enhance product competitiveness through the collaboration and resources integration on a global scale, and consolidate our dominant position in the field of global surface performance materials.
