On March 25, the groundbreaking ceremony of Global New Material International Asia-Pacific Headquarters and Surface Performance Material R&D and Production Base Project was held in Tonglu County, Hangzhou. Hangzhou Mayor Yao Gaoyuan attended the event, and Vice Mayor Sun Xudong announced the start of the construction. Zhang Ze, academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences and professor of Zhejiang University’s School of Materials Science and Engineering, Hong Feng, member of the Party committee and deputy general manager of Zhejiang State-owned Capital Operation Co., Ltd, Su Ertian, chairman of the board of directors and chief executive officer of Global New Material International Holdings Ltd, as well as leaders of the relevant departments of the city attended the event. Tonglu County Party Secretary Xia Jiliang, County Mayor Zhang Huina, County People’s Congress Director Shao Weibin, County Political Consultative Conference Chairman Zhou Pingying and county’s Four Leading Groups participated the event.

“I announce that the project of Global New Material International Asia-Pacific Headquarters and Surface Performance Materials R&D and Production Base Project officially begun.” After Sun Xudong, deputy mayor of Hangzhou, announced the commencement of construction, the salute sounded, and the construction of the new production base project in Tonglu was officially kicked off.

Mr. Sultan, the chairman of the board, thanked the party committees and government at all levels, the shareholders, partners and friends from all walks of life for their concern and support for the construction of the company’s Tonglu project and introduced the basic situation of the project in detail.  He said that since the signing of the project, Tonglu has set up a special working team to efficiently promote the land of “Seven Links and One Leveling”, infrastructure supporting, project approval and other work, providing a stable and reliable development platform for the company. Under the strong leadership of the government, Global New Material International will make every effort to speed up the construction of the project, promoting the early completion of the project, the early production, and achieve the effect as soon as possible, and this will help both Global New Material International and Tonglu grow and develop together, and run to a better tomorrow together!

Xia Jiliang, secretary of Tonglu County Party Committee, congratulated the construction of the project on behalf of the Tonglu County Party Committee and the county government. He pointed out that since the signing of the global new material international project, the government and enterprise has efficiently coordinated. It took 33 days from entering the site to completing the construction of the “standard place” , and cost 22 days from the clearing to the start of the construction, fully shows our efficiency. We insist that the project and the enterprise is the most important work in our county and we will build a special team for project promotion service, seizing the project construction process and the node tasks, strengthening the front-line working method, providing the  accurate service for the project, and make every effort to ensure that the project is completed and put into operation as scheduled.

Global New Material International Asia-Pacific Headquarters and Surface Performance Material R & D and Production Base Project covers an area of 800 mu, mainly around the surface performance materials industry chain development layout, fully integrated surface performance materials upstream and downstream industries and  will effectively promote the high-end and cluster development of Tonglu manufacturing industry. This project will help Tonglu  for better integrate into the province’s “415X” advanced manufacturing cluster and the city’s “five industrial ecosystem” construction, to consolidate the “stable” foundation for the high-quality development of Tonglu’s economy and society, and gather the strength of ” enterprising”.
