Recently, the National Ministry of Industry and Information Technology announced the 2022 Green Manufacturing List, which is divided into Green Factories, Green Design Products, Green Industrial Parks and Green Supply Chain Management Enterprises. Global New Material International (Chesir) was listed on the national “Green Factory” list, adding another national honor.

The “National Green Factory” is designed by the State Ministry of Industry and Information Technology to implement “Made in China 2025” and “Industrial Green Development Plan”, accelerate the construction of green manufacturing system, create a number of advanced green manufacturing models, and lead the green transformation of industry in related fields. It is a national selection activity organized to help the industrial sector achieve the goal of carbon peaking and carbon neutrality, and is an authoritative recognition given by the State Ministry of Industry and Information Technology for enterprises that meet the requirements of “green development”.

The declaration and recognition of “National Green Factory” has strict criteria, requiring the factory to have the green conditions of intensive land use, harmless raw materials, clean production, resourceful waste and low carbon energy. It is also clear that a green factory should introduce life-cycle thinking and give priority to green raw materials, processes, technologies and equipment on the premise of ensuring product function, quality and occupational health and safety of people in the production process. It needs to meet the requirements and continuously improve in terms of infrastructure, management system, energy and resource input, etc.
