On February 11, Global New Material International Holdings Limited (CHESIR) announced the launch of its rooftop distributed photovoltaic project. The project intends to use the roof of the 27,000 square meter plant of Global New Material International (CHESIR) to install PV distributed power generation modules with a total capacity of approximately 27MWp, which will be connected to the power grid within the plant.
With social progress and economic development, the global energy transition trend is obvious, solar energy as a set of “clean, pollution-free, emission-free, inexhaustible, inexhaustible” and many other advantages of renewable energy, is being rapidly promoted and applied in many areas, the photovoltaic industry is developing rapidly. According to QX/T89-2018 “Solar Energy Resource Assessment Method”, the solar energy resource richness grading table is divided, the location of the Global New Material International (CHESIR) plant is a solar energy resource-rich area, suitable for the construction of photovoltaic power station, and has good development prospects.
After the PV project is completed and connected to the grid, it is expected that the average annual power generation will be about 3 million kWh, which is equivalent to saving more than 900 tons of standard coal and reducing more than 2,500 tons of greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide per year. Through the application of photovoltaic power generation, the cost of electricity for production will be reduced, which can save more than 10 million yuan per year for the enterprise. It can play a significant role in energy-saving and emission reduction.
At the same time, PV modules on the plant can effectively protect the roof from sun and rain, prolong the service life of the plant roof, and reduce the use and maintenance costs of the plant; PV power generation time is more consistent with the peak hours of electricity consumption, which can play a certain role in peak shaving, effectively alleviate the pressure of power supply in the plant when electricity is tight, and protect the normal production activities of the plant. As the PV module absorbs solar radiation, it can effectively reduce the indoor temperature by 3-5 degrees, thus improving the workshop working environment and reducing the cost of cooling in summer.
The construction of the Global New Material International (CHESIR) house project of distributed photovoltaics can effectively use solar energy, reduce environmental pollution, improve the ecological environment, promote sustainable development of the environmental economy, and at the same time help enterprises to develop green, efficient and sustainable, which will bring benefits to both society and enterprises.
